Program about the Werkteater, the most asked-for group of actors in Holland. Excerpts from some of their programs are presented. On the basis of these scenes Shireen Strooker and Dunbar H Ogden discuss the methods of working of the group.

In 1983 Shireen Strooker was invited by Dunbar H. Ogden to teach at the University of California, Berkeley, at the Department of Dramatic art. Under the guidance of Shireen, the students developed two original performance projects, Neglect and Ondine.
In 1984 a book about this work was also published. ‘Actor training and audience response’ , an evaluation by Dunbar H. Ogden of acting and playwriting techniques as taught at Berkeley by Shireen Strooker from the Amsterdam Werkteater.
